Some quests define your journey more than others. For me, CyberMark was that turning point.

In my previous chapters, I was limited by the restraints of my role a copywriter. While I was able to learn more about eCommerce and SEO, I was still trapped within the limiting 300 character product descriptions.

At CyberMark—a digital marketing agency where strategy and execution merge—I didn’t just refine my craft. I evolved. I gained exposure to multiple industries and was given hands-on experience with SEO, analytics, and strategy. Most importantly, I had mentors who guided me into a leadership role with confidence.

This was where I stopped being a copywriter and became a full fledged strategist with a clear path towards my dream role.

The Adventure

The Foundation of My Role

I began my CyberMark journey with SEO-driven content writing, crafting high-quality blogs and webpages designed to increase visibility and rankings. As I grew, so did my scope—expanding beyond standalone blog projects into full-scale website content for new and redesigned sites across small businesses and franchise brands.

  • Wrote SEO-optimized blog posts & webpages for CyberMark and client projects.
  • Managed Google Business Profile posts, improving local engagement and search presence.
  • Developed content for website projects, including full-site content for small business and franchise brands.

Becoming a Multi-Location Specialist

The second phase of my CyberMark role involved mastering local listings management. I became the in-house Yext expert, providing direct support and strategy for managing online listings. I now specialize in franchise and multi-location brands, ensuring consistency and accuracy across multiple platforms.

  • Manage local listings via Yext, optimizing location-based search results.
  • Provide expertise in Google Business Profile & Facebook Business Pages for single and multi-location businesses.
  • Currently expanding knowledge into Apple Business Connect, broadening multi-platform support.

Expanding My Content Marketing Reach

Taking on social media management solidified my role as a full-stack content marketer at CyberMark. While I manage social media for select clients, my primary focus is CyberMark’s own brand presence, overseeing all content creation and engagement strategies.

  • Develop and schedule social media content for CyberMark, shaping its digital voice.
  • Manage select client social accounts, ensuring consistency and audience engagement.
  • Analyze performance metrics to refine social content strategy and engagement tactics.
  • Coordinate content planning across digital platforms, including blogs, social posts, and video content.

Leading CyberMark’s Content Direction

As my expertise grew, I took on full ownership of CyberMark’s content strategy. While I don’t yet manage content strategy for clients, I work closely with the brand team to develop, review, and implement a comprehensive content approach that aligns with CyberMark’s growth goals.

  • Develop and execute CyberMark’s full content strategy, aligning with branding objectives.
  • Work with the brand team to refine messaging, campaign direction, and content execution.
  • Ensure all digital content aligns with overarching company goals and marketing initiatives.

The Bridge Between Strategy & Execution

In January 2024, I took on a dual role in project and content management, overseeing both recurring retainers and specialized projects. I quickly became the go-to person for advertising setups, digital utilities services, and retainer management, ensuring smooth execution across multiple teams.
